Business of Being an Artist

Last night, I went to the “Business of Being an Artist” lecture series organized by the Visual Art Exchange Association and Gallery (VAE). The lecture took place at the Carswell Concert Hall in the Wainright Music Building at Meredith College. The speakers were Rory Parnell and Mary Kay Kennedy from The Mahler Fine Art Gallery, and Jeff Pettus from the North Carolina Arts Council.

I have to say that the speakers provided very interesting information and they were very receptive to questions. This was the first time I participate in an event as a member of VAE, and I am looking forward to keep participating!
