Exhibition at the NC Museum of Art

"Art of the Auction"

at The North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA)

May 6 – May 21, 2011

I am excited to announce that my painting "The Union" was selected by the North Carolina Museum of Art curators to be part of the "Art of the Auction" Gala 2011, a benefit for the NCMA Foundation. Artworks by artists from North Carolina and across the country will be exhibited from May 6th – 21st. The last day, will be an exciting evening of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, silent and live auctions, and a high-energy afterparty. Don't miss it!

I will be posting pictures of my artwork "The Union" soon.

Solo Exhibitions at UAC and Vintage21

Hi all,

This month my artwork is being featured at two locations in downtown Raleigh.

At the United Arts Council I exhibit mostly small paintings, some landscapes and geometric art. At Vintage21 some of my largest artwork, landscapes and flowers are being displayed.

The reception for both of them was "First Friday" March 4th. It was nice to meeting new people, other artists and enjoying with family and friends. Thanks all for coming and especially to the organizers from both galleries, Jessica, Meredith and the board of directors of the UAC for the opportunity, wine and food.

If anyone happens to be in the Triangle area, it is not too late to go and see my solo exhibitions. If you need more information, please contact me.

“For the Love of Art” Art Auction Update

Hi all,

My painting "Otoño" has been selected for the live auction of the gala event "For the Love of Art".

This is the biggest fundraiser event for "Visual Art Exchange Gallery", a non-profit organization that supports emerging and professional artists in North Carolina.

This gala will be held Saturday February 5th at The Marriot City Center in downtown Raleigh from 6 – 11 pm. If you would like to be part of this event, please visit www.visualartexchange.org

This will be a great evening of live music, wine, dancing and exciting bidding with 400 art lovers.

Out of 170 artworks, 32 were selected for the live auction. The rest of the pieces will be available for the silent auction. The honorable curators/jurors were: Adam Cave, Owner of Adam Cave Fine Art Gallery, Linda Dougherty, Chief Curator of North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA), and Roger Manly, Director of Gregg Museum of Art & Design.
